“Grit is seriously the best field hockey and fitness training program there is in St. Louis. This program brings field hockey players back to the beauty of the basics and elevating performance through repetition with these skills. The fitness is hands down the most effective program for both field hockey players and other athletes by engaging with inner “grit” that many don’t even know they have within them. I leave grit training in the summer with quicker skills, harder hits, faster running times, and a tight knot group of friends that grow through it all with you.”

“I’d like to thank Margaret for developing the GRIT Program! My daughter started with Margaret four years ago as a junior in high school. GRIT emphasizes a clear understanding that players are made in the offseason which is paramount for in season success.GRIT has promoted leadership skills, strength training, stick skills, and the team first mentality that has helped my daughter reach her collegiate goals.”
Jerry Winkelmann, Father of Delanie Winkelmann
I look forward to GRIT each week. Even though i know im gonna get my butt kicked i also know that i will walk out better and stronger than when i came in. Margaret creates an environment where people are working towards their own goals and want to help you reach yours. She holds each person accountable to that whether it’s a workout or hockey day and i wouldn’t be the athlete i am today without her.

“The Grit Program has truly made a remarkable difference in our daughters life. The incredible leadership by Margaret and Delanie and their high level of knowledge and support provided by the program has not only improved her fitness levels but also instilled valuable life skills such as resilience, determination, and self-belief. KK met an incredible group of athletes outside of her high school and club teams and continues to be pushed beyond her perceived limits. This has had a profound impact on her personal growth and development. Kk has achieved physical milestones like cutting her mile in half but also developed a newfound love for training. The Grit experience has taught her about the importance and power of determination, confidence, and a supportive network. Grit is more than just fitness and field hockey training, it is a sorority of warrior women who believe in each other, and lift each other up! Grit has played a major role in KK’s development and success in field hockey and in her everyday life. Thank you Margaret for all you have done for our daughter. We will forever be grateful.”
